AV Set-Up help required.

I can't get sound from cable box through tv speakers.

cable box - virgin samsung V+
tv - Panasonic P50G20


picture transfer ok (HDMI QED HDMI-P in HDMI port 1 on TV)

cable box linked to processor via toslink, and sound is fine via this route, but can't sound from tv speakers when I don't want use the processor route.

Did you hook everything up then try it out? Have you tried it without the toslink and just the hdmi in? Cable box might autosense if the optical out is in use and not send audio over hdmi.

All checked....... an iffy connection on the at the splitter for tv/interconnect...... all up n running now
