Is anyone going? I have not heard of this meet before and I live only 10 miles away. It looks good.

Have just had a few flights with my cheap JP Pretty glider, one of the most enjoyable models I have flown.

I usualy fly aerobatic and scale, but I think the whole elec glider thing could be my future hobby.

Bloody expensive if you go the carbon mold, hotliner, thermal soarer route though.

I fancy the RCM x-treme but they are out of stock. frown

A cracking day out. The weather threatend to mess it up but apart from a bit of wind it was brilliant.
Some wonerfull flying, and amazing models. The jets were awe inspiring especialy the F-15 and T-33, but a sports jet stole the show as the fastest thing in the air.

Steve Carr proved yet again that he is an amazing pilot, faultless display even in strong wind.
The massive gliders were gracefull and awe inspiring.

I got some good pics that I hope to post up soon.

And my credit card got hit by a 2m warmliner, all glass fiber mould, should be fast. The cost of the servos and motor really made me wince, hey ho. smile

Well worth a look next year.

Was a decent show (ended up there after not being able to attend Dunsfold), as said above, Steve Carr was amazing especially in the gusty conditions.

Unfortunately had to leave before the F15 frown but apparently was epic.

Shame about the mid-air between the two Extra 260's, they were flying superbly up to that point.

Loved the Corsair and the Radial engined P-47D. Turbine powered gliders were very impressive!
