Whilst replacing the water pump I noticed that the crankshaft pulley is accessible from above, well if you take the bonnet off, needed the bonnet off anyway to re- glass one of the pivot points. Crankshaft oil seal has been leaking since I got the car but couldn't get the pulley off from underneath. Socket right angle driver and 5 foot of spare space from tubing, car in 5th, hand brake on, chocks under the wheels and crack it was off. Pulled the pulley off and fortunately the woodruff key was at about 3 o'clock, pushed the car backward in 5th and the woodruff key was at 12 o'clock timing marks now at about 9 o'clock. Seal came out with a screwdriver new seal from local motor factor. Bolt tightened to 210Nm max on my torque wrench + a nip and the jobs a good un.
