If mine should decide to go (renault gearbox) what are the options. Are there any easily interchangeable gearboxes?
I am in Australia which makes Renault gearboxes very difficult to come by.

Hi James,
The short answer is no, there aren't any interchangable gearboxes. It's either a Renault box or a Quaife but these are over £10K. There are upgrades for your current UN1 box but this is on top of any damage you cause when your baox goes bang. I would only do this if putting more power into it and as a preventative measure not when your gearbox packs in. This will cost you an arm and a leg if this happens. There are a few articles on LEW.
