Isle of Man Registered Car Residing in England

Quick question: How long can you keep a car in the UK that is registered in any of the Bailiwicks or Crown Dependencies before you have to re-register it as a UK vehicle?

So maybe I should clarify. If my main home was in the UK and I had a 'presence' in the Isle of Man, (holiday home or such like), for example.

Also, what is the score with parking tickets/speeding fines/tax etc?
