As I understand it the DDA is meant to ensure access to "everyday services" such as shops, theatre etc.
How does this work?
The reason I ask is I'd like to take the kids to one of those laser quest places but the local one is on a first floor and only has a staircase which makes it inaccessible to me.
I have no intention of taking this further but did wonder if they are breaking the law or if they are outside the act?

Worth speaking to the Laser Quest owners. Possible there is a service lift in a less than obvious location.

Also, if folk don't tell them about access issues, they may be thinking all is fine etc.
I did and , although they were very apologetic and friendly, there isn't unfortunately.
