I was traveling up the M40 this morning and was pulled over for speeding.
Fair cop, I was speeding and told him how fast I was going (no need to, of course he knew and said it was on video should I wish to view it).

It was an unmarked Volvo and after checking my license and obviously passing the attitude test (or whatever you call it) he told me that he was issuing me a verbal warning and that traffic plod would have issued me a summons, but as he was armed response (in casual clothes and looked very mean lol), he let me go.

So I do consider myself very lucky considering the speed.

I assume he could have quite easily reported me if he saw fit?

Didnt actually see any guns, but he had the flashing lights and police sign that lit up.

Was doing 105.9, so I am humble this afternoon!

Is that Beaconsfield?

I had just left the services when I was pulled. Silver Merc

My Bullst Detector is going ping ping ping. I suggest that either this incident never happened, or that it did but the OP has been spoofed by a fake cozzer. OP, how do you know that this dude was an armed police officer? He told you? Armed police officer on his own and not in uniform? A Protection Officer (one of the guys who protects pols, Royals, Diplomats and so on) might be on his own and in civvies (usually a suit), but some random dude dressed up as Dave Starsky, eh? I am not saying it couldn't happen, but the story seems a tad unconvincing.

lol, Why would I lie?

I am 42 years old, not 12.

A newish saloon Volvo, had strobes behind the front grill and at the back, and inside the back window was a POLICE sign in red (the ones that light up)

My first post explained pretty much what happened,-he asked if I would like to see the video (I declined), he asked if I had my license (I did) which he and his colleague looked at (in their car) and when he returned he gave me a talking to as described. He was pleasant and professional.

Why would a fake cop pull anyone over?
