Speeding on M6 Toll - Need a Motoring Lawyer
Discussion
get yourself over to somewhere like pepipoo or find someone on here that can give a decent recommendation for a specialist road traffic lawyer,
your looking at a ban somewhere between 7 to 56 days I would imagine or if your lucky 6 points depends on the circumstances the magistrate police reports etc etc etc
get a good lawyer

I don't think you don't need a lawyer.
Go to Court, make sure you're on time, wear a suit and look very sorry. Apologise. Make sure you have a good reason as to why you were going that fast and offer it the Magistrate.
If you can prove someone else (not yourself) will be at detriment if you loose your license then this will help your cause. An example would be an elederly relative for whom you are the sole carer - You would be unable to visit them, or take them out of the house on a day trip without the use of your car.

Out of interest, what were the conditions like (day/night) and how did they catch you? M6 Toll is usually pretty quiet so I have tended to put my foot down thinking that I would probably spot someone tailing me.
Used that strech of motorway for years, and never had a problem...Was a Monday morning a couple of weeks back, M6 Toll northbound they had an officer on the overbridge operating a laser device. Seen at least 5 patrol cars (3 unmarked and 2 marked) in the period I was on the hard-shoulder being dealt by the police. Was mid morning, good visibility, dry, and light traffic....
Maybe if they use a little resource on seldom occasions then the word will get out that there is a risk of being detected and dealt with on that road.
Perhaps this very thread is a positive contribution to that.
Good use of a scant and expensive resource by the Midlands Motorway Patrol Group IMHO!

Bad luck for getting caught in the first instance, if you are lucky then 6 points, if you are unlucky then up to 56 days ban, I have just been banned for exceeding the speed limit in a national speed limit, i wont bore you with the details except to say that i pleaded guilty to 101mph, My council argued a very good hardship case but they still banned me, i even had a clean driving license, you wont really know which way it goes until the day you are in court, or in my case the day my barrister was in court! good luck.

OP, contact agtlaw of this parish.
At 107 you take your chances.
Unless there are major mitigating circumstances it's difficult to feel sympathy .
Cruise control set under 80 and you are unlikely to get pulled.
Do that road regularly and yes it's a good quiet road with few trucks and probably one of the few places around that area where you can exercise your right foot.
Which the police know. Which is why there are signs saying that it is a speed check area.
Which is why the op was caught.
107 and the police know you are taking the piss.
Doesn't matter that it was in all probability safe to do. Just too far the wrong side of 80 in an area signposted for being checked.
Lawyer shouldn't make a jot of difference unless there is a really good reason for going that fast.
Be interesting to know how many points the op has already.
