Pushed someone a few times - Assault?
Discussion
I parked on a particular part of waste land whilst I made a call.
It was in an Industrialised area. A high vis wearing guy tapped on my window and told me to move quite bluntly.
We exchanged a few pleasantries and he stormed off and thumped the rear door on my car and left a shallow dent.
I jumped out and and went after him saying that he should not have done that (you get the gist)
As he didn't turn around i grabbed his shoulder and span him around and pushed him with two hands. Fairly hard but not enough to make him stumble or lose balance. I basically gave him a mouthful (no threats issued though) and left.He shouted that I'm on CCTV and it was assault.
Having calmed down and realised what a complete dick I have been I'm worrying what can happen to me. I have no record and apart from a speeding ticket or two Ive never been in trouble.

Well it was a storm in a teacup. I went to the place today and found Mr. Hi vis.
I walked over and apologised for my tone and my actions. I said it was unacceptable to hit another person's car but equally unacceptable for me to react. He looked a bit relieved to be honest. He said he thought I'd report him and he would lose his job.
i admitted i was worried he would report me to the police.
Anyway we shook hands and left it at that. Lessons learned
