Van insurance for car
Discussion
Rather than sitting on my arse between dropping the kids off at school and picking them up I thought I would try to secure a few small courier jobs from the Anyvan website. I have an old diesel Galaxy that is pretty huge without the seats, I won't be moving house for anyone soon but there does seem to be a steady stream of work.
Now my brand new Aviva insurance covers me for business, but not for goods in carriage/haulage. And when I try to get a quote via a comparison website it seems only vans are listed on their number plate database.
My question is thus, is it possible to get van insurance for a car without going to a specialist broker?

Not how I read it. He has business use, excluding driving the car whilst carrying goods or people for hire and reward. So business use excluding courier/haulage/minicabbing.
He's after car insurance that will allow him to work as a courier, he isn't asking about cover for the parcels themselves.

This seems to be a bit of a nightmare, may have to speak to a broker as suggested.
