I have had the same car parked outside my house since the end of August. I'm not sure who the car belongs to, it is only a couple of years old, and in good condition. But it has never been moved, no one has ever come to look at it. It has road tax until 2015. None of the neighbours know who it belongs to. Is there anything I can do, or do I have to just let it sit there?

No idea if it's insured or not. I suppose I should drop the police a line.

It's a very quiet village, so I doubt it's stolen. But you never know! If the police say it isn't stolen, and it is insured then I don't know what to do.

Cheers for that smile I just tried it, the car has road tax, MOT and is not stolen. Damn!

Why does it matter?
Mainly because I would like to park my car there. I don't feel I own the space, it's on a public road outside my house. But it's just been standing there for 3 months.

Is there a body in the boot? Give it a sniff.
There is no obvious smell of decay, I would lick the boot, but it's dark.

Yeah, I don't want to be a dick about it, it's not a massive deal. It's just because it has been there for so long.
