UKPC parking ticket,Two tickets in 12 hours, guidelines?
Discussion
Whilst staying at a friends flat over night I acquired two parking tickets (I stupidly believed said friend when told "don't worry they never check on a weekend and you will be gone before 9am anyway")
I don't mind forking out for one ticket as I was indeed parked in the near empty car park but I think it is a little OTT to have been stung for two tickets one at 20:14 and another one the next day at 8:11, within 12 hours of each other.
I have had a browse of the POPLA website and also the BPA website but cant seem to see any guidelines for the length of time between issuing tickets. Is it just a case of it was the next calendar day? Because in that case you could be done at 23:59 and 00:01 for two tickets. Any advice re appeals would be useful and or a link to a section of the guidelines for times between tickets would be good.
Unfortunately ignoring it isn't really an option as it is a company car and I don't want the fleet manager on my back.
