Usually use parcel force several times a week to send car parts and other eBay items without any issue. But then I was told about Parcel Monkey and was told i could save a few quid over PF. So i sent a steering wheel and air bag cover (deactivated and unconnected to the wheel) so could not physically go off to Italy tracked and signed for within 5 days.

The item was only 2kg and was worth around £30 max

That was in the middle of October and today I received an email from Parcel Monkey saying details were inaccurate even though i checked the prohibited items list and nowhere did it say no steering wheels or airbag covers could be sent. And i clearly stated what the item was on the form and at the depot and they accepted it without issue.

So the buyer has given the wrong address. I have checked the PM address against that on the buyers paypal and they match.

Over a month and the buyer has not been in touch.

So how can I handle this as it's not my fault the buyer put the wrong address or info on paypal.

So here is what they sent me.

So they have send me several options. Collect in Southampton which is not an option as I live nowhere near.

Dispose of item, again they will charge me for this.

Or send the item back at a cost of...

Over £60 to send a 2kg item back little over 200 miles seems excessive.

The address as stated was the same as on the buyers paypal.

Surely if they open a case I can't be liable if they've given the incorrect address.

Just contact them in a ticket, usually pretty helpful.

We use them to send a few bits back to China sometimes, and when it can't clear customs always gets returned to us easily.
But they want £65 to send it back from Southampton to my house.

Anyone know who the CEO or MD is for Parcel Monkey and if they have a sneaky number i could give them a piece of my mind down.

I don't believe my item even left the UK.

Today I get another message saying another item to France was not delivered because the address was incorrect.

I've checked this with the buyer and they gave the correct address.

I believe they are deliberately not sending items abroad then charging £65 to send the items back to the seller.

I've told them i'm getting in touch with Watchdog

I've posted two items with them both of which the address was 'inaccurate and incorrect'

I've double checked this with both buyers who gave me the same address and confirmed it was right.

The customer service is one line every day.

I spent about £40 on postage and they have failed to deliver therefore no provided the service I paid for.

I paid with VISA debit so going to go into the bank and issue a chargeback

So thought I would update on this.

Got my two parcels returned having told them to stick their two £65 admin fees up the monkeys arse.

I requested chargeback from VISA through my RBS account and they have refused saying they're not allowed to but wouldn't say anymore than that.

I paid them £40 and they held both parcels in the depot and didn't attempt to deliver either of them.

£40 isn't going to put me on the breadline but it's the principal that they're probably doing this hundreds of times a week.

I've told them over the last week that they have 10 days to return the money or i'll be taking this further.

I've basically told everyone i know and thousands on twitter/FB and done several reviews etc to avoid this company like the plague and many have done so.

Anywhere else I could take this as this company deserves to go out of business.

I be been messaging them all week asking for the £40 I paid them to be returned without any response.
I've told them unless they do within 10 days things will be get difficult for them.

I've also posted numerous status on Twitter and Facebook and they just remove them.

I've also registered with evey review site and given them a scathing review.

I plan to do this everytime until I get a full refund.

I've also had similar issues with DPD which got sorted quickly.
