Insurance Advice for A Girl in Our Office

She has an old Punto that is SORNED currently.
She has sold it pending it getting an MOT/ MOT not being terminal.

Car is no longer insured, is it possible to get one day insurance for it, even tho it is SORNED?

Sorry I was unclear, the ins is to get to the pre booked MOT, its with a local Halfords Auto Center, so I don't think they will collect.

I will point her in the direction of Aviva.
