M62 active traffic management cameras

Travelling between Bradford and Leeds last night with the gantry limits at 50, sitting on cruise at an indicated 52, so probably 49ish, and got flashed 3 times on separate gantries.

Test flashes?

Calibration?

Error?

Has this happened to anyone here before? I'm mostly managing not to worry. But I can't help but be slightly concerned.

If there is a double flash then that is done after a vehicle is seen to be above the enforcement threshold for the indicated speed limit.
Remember when the illuminated signs are off the indicated speed limit is 70mph...unless you are driving a vehicle that is not allowed to do 70mph.
