Long story short was insured with eChoice and had to pay extra £50 for a change of car for 2 months which I did, upon renewal time I went with Aviva but unknown to me eChoice renewed at £650 odd in Feb 2014 and I have only now realised as I just got a "your car insurance is soon due" from eChoice (I am horrified at the waste of £600)

So I have had unwanted insurance from eChoice for nearly a year - they are closed today (I opened the letter today) and want to know of any experiences any of you have had as I 100% did not renew but neither did I cancel however they have taken the payment without permission BUT in the T&C`s it might have a clause (I haven't checked)

Anyone have any advice for an idiot

Is this a PH first? We have one poster complaining about auto renewal and one complaining it doesn't auto renew.

Will heads start to explode?

On phone to them now ........

They are checking with Aviva, if Aviva confirm it they will refund the full amount.

No refund as yet but it has been approved however as over £500 it needed extra approval and will be with me in 5 working days - key to this was the checking with Aviva.

Edit - its in my bank today, just in time to pay my insurance renewal!
