Main dealer used car screw over!

Hi guys,
Looking for a bit of advice how to go about sorting an issue out with a main dealer.
I've bought a Ford C Max that is 20 months old from them and when I looked around it It looked pretty tidy as you would expect a car of this age to look. However, I went to collect the car today and for several reasons the hand over was being put back. First the salesman was in a meeting, then when I turned up the car was no where to be seen as it was 'still being prepped to a high standard' while we completed all of the paperwork and money etc.
Finally, after having taken 1 hour and 30 minutes to complete the paperwork and the salesman go over my px car in the daylight with a fine tooth comb, I was lead outside to the car. By this time it had gone dark. I was shown how nice the inside was, and then just as I walked toward the front I was directed back inside to see something else. I didn't think anything of this, but the sales person was then keen to shake hands before I drove off. (he knew I was due on a night shift that he had already made me late for.
At this I decided to have one last quick walk around the car. And I'm so glad I did. When I got to the front my heart sank. A glaringly obvious bumper repair that had appeared to have been carried out by a 5 year old caught my eye! And remember it was now dark (funny that). I couldn't help but point out how awful it looked, and it does. Many excuses came from the sale person about how it 'was nothing' or 'maybe somethings reacted' and of course the phrase 'you've got better eyes than me' was used a lot. Funny how his eyes worked perfectly when pointing out any minute defect with PX car.
A bodywork technician was brought over and I've been told to take the car back in the morning for them to rectify this. They mentioned a spray, but that this would only take 2 hours? Cant imagine that will look great if done in a cold garage? There's also paint rubbed off the chrome part of the plastic grill.
I'm worried that their version of rectifying the problem and my version of rectifying the problem may be different. Where do I stand with rejecting the car or getting them to properly sort it should they bodge it again?
I'm seriously disgusted by the way they've gone about this. I can only assume the car has been damaged between when I first viewed it and then went to collect it. But the fact it would appear that they've purposefully kept the car tucked away until the last minute and when it was dark and when they knew I was in a rush after their delay tactics, plus the obvious distractions away from the front of the car is the sort of low down thing you'd expect from a back alley garage doing cut and shuts. NOT and main Ford dealer!
