Hi all, short story, someone drove into the side of my wife's car on the way to work this morning, both parties stopped and exchanged details, both only had name and number.

Called the number given tonight, comes back saying not receiving calls at the moment.

Car shows as taxed.

Name does not seem to be flagging up on Facebook, possible on Twitter but old looking pic so wife is not sure it is him.

It's an uncommon name so I thought he would be easy (ish) to locate

Called 101 to ask advice and got a report number but no help at all!

Speaking to our insurance tomorrow but really don't want to end up out of pocket or losing no claims if possible.

Advice gratefully received.

call your insurance company. To be honest I'm not sure why you haven't done it already.
Because I wanted to make sure I had as many details as possible before calling them and checking the car was safe enough for my wife to drive today as well as making sure she was OK.

They will be called this morning.

I just thought there might be a bit of helpful guidance here to help me proceed but it seems to be the normal PH way these days.
