No fault insurance claim
Discussion
Hi all,
Had a twit go into the back of my (stbox) day car. Their insurer (Direct Line) immediately accepted liability (they contacted me the very next morning before I'd even contacted my own insurer to pass on the third party details)
Direct Line say there's no necessity to inform my insurer - trying to keep the claim costs down I guess... but surely I have an obligation to inform my insurer of any accidents / incidents even if they're no fault?
All advice gratefully accepted.
Cheers!
