What say the legal bods on these? Saw one this morning, obviously designed to fool you into thinking it says Police Notice. A biker was wearing one a few cars ahead, and it had me fooled. I did a second take when I saw he had a multi coloured helmet and a standard bike, and then realised it says Polite Notice.

As for the legal issue, there isn't even the remotest beginning of one. It's a polite notice. No one is actually pretending to be a police officer.
OK, thanks for answering my question.

I think two things: i] anyone who cannot clearly see what it says should not be driving.
Really? You see it at a distance, and because of the font and the overall look of it you mistake it for POLICE NOTICE (which is clearly what it was designed to be mistaken for), and for that reason, a person should be off the road and not driving.

Don't be such a tt.
