PPI Claim. But never asked for help
Discussion
Some advice from people in the know.
Father in law receives a letter from company stating that he owes them money for a claim he hasn't asked for. They state he owes them £150 for not providing details on a claim they have open on him.
Now the facts.
He has never asked them to look at this and the claim is against an account he has never had.
I know its all crap and they won't be getting anything but I do enjoy annoying them.
So rang them this morning stating that he has not had contact with them and he also never had this account. They said I need to right a letter to with his signature on to then give me authorisation to talk about his account. I stated that they can't have his signature and I won't be doing this. Asked to speak to someone higher and nothing said they would call back.
yep no call back.
Shall I just bin it and ignore or can I play them at their own game.
