Replacement engine and insurance

Quick one for the knowledgeable on here (I hope anyway)
had a manufacturer supplied like for like replacement engine fitted to my car, due to the old one suffering from excessive oil usage. Do I need to let my insurance co. know that it now has a new engine, even though it is the same spec as the old one?
