Lost wallet - what to do?

My son has lost his wallet, containing cash, bank card, driving license and Social Security card.
We've cancelled the bank card, but what do we about the other stuff?

Mental block! NI card is what I meant. Have already logged with police, but the links posted above help, thanks.
You say license, I say licence, we all know what we mean though.

The dozy tt will be regularly reminded about the time he lost £160 plus about 50 euros. I wish I'd got that much in my wallet.
