Excellent divorce lawyer needed - Portsmouth area
Discussion
Yes there is a lot at stake. The reason I want a referral is that I used a lawyer to get me through the divorce process to nisi who was not to put too fine a point on it, useless. She even sent the court paperwork to a previous address...
Now I am sorting out a financial settlement, there is what I would consider a lot of money and my (not hers) kids inheritance that I would like protected. So if someone that has had a good experience can reply I would be grateful.
Are the nosey comedians among us happy now?

Save your money and defend yourself, at worst it'll end up 50/50.
With due respect, that is the biggest load of cobblers I have ever read given my specific circumstances. Knowledge of likely outcomes, case history and specific crevices that may be useful to balance it back towards 50/50 is something that those of us who are not dealing with these issues day in / day out lack. Also, the difference between what she wants and 50/50 is a small percentage of a lawyer cost, so it is IMO a good investment on the right professional to pull things back to a fair outcome.
This is not a simple case. A fair amount of equity up for grabs, and massively different salaries / pensions seem to move the scales quite a bit. Given that she has a lawyer who is (mis)representing her side of it, I need one too, and to make a difference, a better one than hers.
