Hi all,
This may appear to be a really stupid post, but I'd appreciate some reassurance.
Sadly I was fined back in January for overstaying in a KFC car park. After an appeal with the company and POLPA the charge has remained.
I went on to the parking company's website today to pay the fine expecting it to be £100, but the amount outstanding on the payment service was £60. I've paid the £60, but is there any chance they'll come looking for the other £40 that it states on the letter? I'm very far outside of the discount period now.
I've saved the receipt and screenshot the new page which states £0 is outstanding.

I'd stayed for 1 hour and 19 minutes - there was 1 hour free parking... I was blissfully unaware of parking restrictions at the time.
I have followed plenty of advice for appealing the Parking Charge Notice and both internal and POPLA appeals were rejected.
Following those rejections I sought advice from Citizens Advice and was advised to pay the PCN. Hence, I went onto their website to pay. Their most recent correspondence stated £100, but the website suggested a payment of £60 was outstanding. I paid the £60 and am looking for reassurance that I will not be liable for the £40 remainder due to their administrative error.
