Just found out that someone I know has been sent to prison, I would like to find out for how long/what for.

I did a google search and nothing came up, is this information freely available.

I've googled his name, searched on the local papers website, nothing on the above link.
There's me thinking in 2016 you could just search or there would be a local court listings online. Sometimes I still think were still in 1972.

I don't know what court he was in thou.
