Has anyone on here registered yet and gone on the training course to get a licence. Whats it like.

Seems a waste of time to create even more paperwork and laws, we already have the deposit protection scheme and local authority housing and environmental health officers.

I would never have heard about this if I hadn't clicked on your link, so I certainly won't be helping to market their stupid course by passing on the info to my partner who lets her house biggrin
Apparently its the law.

I'm presuming you're being sarcastic as you're in Wales, but many of us, who are landlords aren't.
The link says wales in the OP as does the web site. I just thought it was quite obvious. Friday afternoon type humour I suppose.

Bureaucracy & non-jobs for parasites. All it will due is drive rents up to cover aggravation.
The governments seem to hate landlords, Cameron & Miliband always used to have a pop at them. They provide a much needed answer to housing for a lot of people.

As always its the small number of bad ones who give the rest a bad name. The bad ones probably wont even bother registering anyway.

At which point, they've committed a criminal offence.
I don't think they care, they probably don't declare the income to HMRC, they don't worry about the law and the condition of the home either. That's why we have another new law.

So I've registered, that's £33.50 down the drain.

Just need to get my licence, oh yeah that's another £144 and I will need to pay to go on a training course.
