I put my 3 piece suit in for dry cleaning and the idiots put a safety pin through the silk back of my waistcoat to attach an label. This has resulted in damage to the waistcoat. The damage is 2 small holes from the pin. This may appear to be minor but it wasn't damaged before it went in. The waistcoat is part of a 3 piece suit worth £630 and the waist coat cant be bought separately. I want to pursue compensation of the full value of the suit which is £630 since I cant buy the waistcoat separately. The company has offered a good will gesture of £100. I have rejected this. What are my options, thanks.

So a cheap suit has two small holes in an inconspicuous position because you failed to ask the cleaners not to pin their ticket in a particular area of fabric?

Thanks for all the sensible opinions. I have decided to accept the £100 and I now consider this matter closed.
