84mph on the A85
Discussion
This afternoon I celebrated escaping the 20mph crawl around Loch Lomond by unleashing the 1.5dci.
A85 with a 60mph limit; straight road, no traffic, no junctions, dry with great visibility...Only I didn't spot the jam sandwich behind the hedge.
In declining to give me a ticket on the spot, the policeman mentioned the words 'Procurator Fiscal'. He also raised the possibility of being charged with careless, or even dangerous driving.
Any thoughts or experiences of similar, anyone?
Thanks.

WJNB I absolutely take your point. I still miss my 55bhp Citroen AX. I chose the Scenic to make the family happy and they love it. I also liked that it's slow (there's not much out there slower) and modern-efficient. I have an old bike for tearing about on and I nearly rode that up to Oban on that day...
Anyhow that's good news from you Bully! I got some good news myself today: 4 points and a £270 fine. They let me off lightly up there in Argyll. Phew!
