Evening ladies and gents!

Right I've had a NIP through the post for an offence which was on the 27/8. The funny thing is, I've received the 'NIP' dated 01/09/16 and Reminder NIP dated 29/09/16 today at the same time!

As far as I can remember, there was a stupid mobile camera van with no warning signs before hand or any camera markings to say etc. The speed limit is 50mph and I've done a sad '68' mph. Can I just get off with a safety awareness course, or is it 3 points and £100 fine? It's my first driving offence in 8years of driving, so I guess I'm not too bad. Also, if I've gone for the 3 points, how long do they usually last on my licence for? I am aware that the offence is most likely a SP50 or similar. I am not happy is an understatement as with no pre warning or anything whilst enjoying Britains finest roads, I am stung!

Right over to the PH comrades! 😂

Thanks for all your responses gents. All feedback has been duly noted. I will have form sent off on Monday special delivery. Lesson learnt I suppose. Another lad that was with me, has been clocked doing 83 mph, so I feel slightly better.

Best regards and I hope you're all enjoying your weekend

The first letter dated 01/09 and the 'reminder notice of intended prosecution' dated 29/09 was both received on the 30th of September, which was yesterday.
