Austrailia Speeding ticket

Was in OZ over xmas and just received a speeding ticket through.

Their motorway's regularly change from 100kph to 110kph and back again. Got a ticket for 110 in a 100, so. basically a £100 fine for doing 6mph over the limit on a 4 lane empty motorway.

What a bunch of thieving wkers!!

However, my son lives over there and worried that on the next visit there the SWAT team will be waiting for me at the Airport.

They also have double demerits over holiday periods ie when the roads are busiest and people are likely to do longer trips, this means double points/double the fine if you get caught over xmas, easter, bank hols - wkers.

Agreed!! All these big V8's everywhere doing 60mph. What's the point! Even on the baack roads, everyone doing 30.
