A quick question for the guys :)

Last week someone stole the Cashbox and a Car from the offices downstairs. On the same day a young 14/15yo ish lad came into our office and when confronted claimed to have come about a job interview. (We have no jobs on offer and have never advertised for staff). He was sent packing by a staff member.

Yesterday I also had a young lad again claiming to be here for a job interview. We suspect it was the same lad who stole the cash box and probably the car.

I just chucked him out the office as all he'd actually done infront of me was ask for a job.....he was definately snooping around but I stopped him before he stole anything....damn it.

My question is should I have "detained" the little scrote and called the bib?

One assumes that there is no sort of secure entrance to your office to prevent such undesireables? We occasionally get scrotes hanging around the small area outside our office smoking roll ups and spitting on the floor a lot.

I despair for the future of our nation!

By midday today there will be a mechanical code lock on the office door.... Just as soon as screwfix deliver it i'm getting the drill and chisels out
