fabulous pavement driving!

was stuck in traffic on my trudge (drive) to work this morning and there was a queue of traffic in the other direction behind a car waiting to turn right (across my lane of traffic). The first car behind the car waiting to turn right mounted the pavement with two wheels and squeezed through.

Hey ho I thought, I wouldn't have done that, especially with a patrol car behind me! Then lo and behold the patrol car does exactly the same and goes on his way.

I made eye contact with the (police) driver, opened my mouth in (mock) horror and pointed at him. He looked a bit sheepish!!!
