On my way to work this morning I went through the local speed trap on A18 (Carr House Rd Doncaster)

This is on a dual carriageway and forward facing. It uses road sensors and has just two lines across the road. I know the trap, and had slowed down to 35 in a 40, as I approached.

I was overtaken by another car, he went through the trap, No flash.

I changed to the outside lane as I wanted to turn right at the next turn. Just as I crossed the lines the camera flashed, even though I was only doing 35!

1. I thought truvellos of this type were infra red and did not flash, but identified the driver, hence the reason for forward facing cameras.

2. I know for certain I never exceeded 35

Anyone got any thoughts on this?
