Late C3 Advice for Purchase?

I have always owned a V8 TVR. I have had several, some 4 litre and a 4.5. Now I would like to buy a C3 as I have always liked them. I am going to look at a few over the next few days and any advice on what to look for on a late C3 would be most welcome. How do I check the chassis and what parts are prone to corrosion? Do they suffer overheating issues? Apart from the obvious I would like some guide as to what normally gives problems on a late C3. Any information would be most welcome and thanks in advance for anyone responding to my request.
