C7 US v. UK v. Euro

It's been a while since I sold the Ron Fellows C6 Z06 and I'm looking at acquiring a C7.

Assuming Z51 option ticked, does anyone have knowledge of differences between UK cars (only available from Bauer Millett) and imports, whether US or Euro?

If I go with an import, how is best to deal with any recalls or problems? (I'm near Cambridge.) Does the Stratstone workshop at Wavendon still exist? Any other recommendations for round these parts?
