Well I picked up my super sprint at the weekend and dodging the showers on the 40 mile trip home I had forgotten how much fun these little go karts were.
Admittedly I didnt buy the fastest Caterham in the world but wow what a lovely sound, poping and banging threw the country lanes.... very adictive!!
But even though a spirited drive home I couldnt get the engine up to temperature, faulty gauge?
Or is this the norm,,,, as it would sit hovering half way between cold and normal..
Im a bit of a tart and wanted a heater (lived to long in Oz) im always bloody freezing... but found the heater was a bit wanting , im pretty sure if I could get the engine to run a bit hotter the it would be fine..
Should I block the front up a bit?
Thanx for any replys

Finally put in 88c thermostate for the winter today and the heater is working better... I also used that "heaterhhoter"stuff and it seems to heat up from cold pretty qwickly and also noticed one of the terminals on the elctric fan was a bit lose and now working fine...
Just gotta get the heated windscreen working now!!
