heated screen

Hi all ...well im really enjoying my old Caterham at the moment ( well wen it stops raining ) and now ive got the water temp probs sorted ive started to take it on further trips, but I went to jump into it this eve it was just after sun down and for the 1st time switched the heated screen on .
The switch lit up but the windscreen did not clear so was just wondering what to check 1st
And you guys are such a freindly bunch even to non mechanicly minded plonkers like myself..Thanx

Yep you can see the wiggly lines between the laminate but I left car running and screen on for at least 10 mins but nothing??

Ok thanx will do that 1st.... do you know if it has its own fuse or if the fuse blew would the switch still light up when turned on?

I managed to check the all the fuses today and all ok , so tried following the wiring from the screen ... blue wire passenger side... followed it into cockpit under dash and its just hanging there not conected !!
Should there be anymore wires coming out of the screen??

Ok thanx will see what I can find unplugged or just hanging around under the scuttle tommorow

Well I guess I should have checked 1st but the black wire in the otherside of the screen just hanging up behind the dash board as well !!
Oh well I will get my m8 to wire it in for me... and put an inline fuse in I guess ,, does anybody know what rating the fuse would be.. thanx
