Another novice question...

My R400D has a CAT. Many other R400/500 Caterhams seem to be using cat bypass pipes. What is the benefit of using the bypass pipe ? On the bypass pipe is the an area to connect the lambda sensor for the duratec ?

Thanks

Thanks guys, that's very helpful.

Seems like it makes a reasonable difference in he mid range. Another thing to add to my list of improvements !

I recently drove a DVA powered K series car (around 200bhp) and it was a real aural experience of pops bangs and crackles on gear shifts and over run and I'd like to see if I can get a bit more of this from the duratec.

Cheers

On the Caterham Parts website, I see there is a bypass pipe for an R500 Duratec listed. Would this be the same part for an R400 D ?

Also are S3 and SV bypass pipes the same ?
