'High mileage' K at Woodcote
Discussion
Hello all
Woodcote have a 1400 K-Series, in red, for sale. The mileage is around 65k, but the price is appealing to me as it seems to be the cheapest K car out there. I know the car in question was briefly mentioned on another thread here (and it soon became a bit of an argument over whether or not a car of that mileage was a good or bad idea), but I was wondering what the received wisdon might be on it?
I would be doing less than 5k miles per year, so I wouldn't be adding too much to it.

Thanks for the replies.
On a related note, does anyone have any experience of comparing a 1.4k supersport (128bhp) with a 1.6k roadsport (120bhp)? I know there's only a nominal power difference, but I assume the 1.4 is more revvy while the 1.6 is a bit torquier? Does the 1.4 really need a six speed box in order to perform well?
