Dunno if we've had one of these and it's died off before, but I spotted Framerateuk on the M4 on Friday looking like he'd had a much better day than me, judging by his trackday wristband versus my haggard busy-week visage. I didn't wave, my missus thinks I'm odd enough as it is without sticking my hand out of the window and waving to "my internet friends" on the motorway...

There also seems to be a new orange Seven in the Tetbury area - saw it on Sunday at the Tipput's Inn pub and again this morning in traffic. Very nice.

Must fix alternator, must fix alternator...

Ha! Well spotted!

Yes I'd been at Abingdon for the day - not all perfect smiles though as my driver side cycle wing flew off on my first session after lunch and had to be duct taped for the way home - thankfully it held smile. Currently waiting for my Sikaflex to turn up so I can stick it back on!

It's the furthest I've gone for a trackday in a single day and I was absolutely shattered when I got home!
Ah - sounds less than ideal. Abingdon is a bit closer for me (but nowwhere near as useful as Keevil or Hullavington!) but it's really hard going a long way in a day for a trackday. I'd love to do some far-flung tracks, but the time away and cost when you add in a BnB just goes mad. Holiday to Spain type money sometimes.

Should be going to Abingdon in July with a mate in a Superlight (alternator willing). I thought it was quite a good layout, with a bit of everything.

Yeah - I'm lucky in that my OH's folks live near Pembery, so that's very doable. For me, I think the do in one day circuits have to be got to inside a couple of hours. Otherwise four plus hours of "commute" and a trackday and you're either dangerously tired on the way home, or you end up knocking it on the head early.

Got the car up and running, so should be at Abingdon in July. Otherwise, blatting about the south Cotswolds.
