What tyres would people recommend for typical UK winter motoring - wet, cold, some below zero, some slushy, some wet leaves etc.....

yep on a 7 - not sure how much I'll use it this winter, but think decent tyres for winter use will allow a wider range of possibilities.....

thanks. looking for road use. So it seems I'll need a set of 14" wheels too then as most are not available in 13's..... rats.

Essentially, it's for road use, in the wet and cold - so tyres with winter formulated rubber will be softer in those temperatures, and obviously cut to be good for water displacement. It's a 'standard' superlight on 13" wheels.

Some interesting recommendations, but none seem actually designed for cooler conditions?
