I pulled my 1990 live axle car apart way back in February and having blasted the bare rear axle and refitted it, there has been a rather long delay in starting to refit the rest of the bits. (I won't go into it (naming & shaming rules etc) but PM me if interested or you are heading down the same route).

Anyway, I now cannot remember the layout.

1) do the brake pipes run from one side to the other and only bleed from one side?
2) are the brake cylinders at the bottom (6 o'clock) and the adjusters at the top (12 o'clock)?
3) does the handbrake cable come over the top of the axle before mounting to the plate under the axle?

Stupid questions I know, should have photographed it but wasn't expecting to have a 6 month delay between dismantling and rebuilding.

Anyone able to provide an exploded diagram of the rear axle, showing the shafts, flanges, bearings, seals etc
Thanks in advance

Sorry Guys I'm back again
I'm reconnecting the rear brake pipes after a long time apart.
The short pipe from the front (after the flexi) has a domed end, which hole on the right hand wheel cylinder does it go into? The existing bends suggest the rear-most, angled hole that would otherwise be fitted with the bleed nipple but the existing long pipe from one side to the other has a flared end and a domed end and that suggests different holes on each cylinder.

It's almost as if one of the pipes is wrong but understand which and why.

I either built this wrong 26 years ago or someone has been meddling in the period when I didn't own it.
And I'm sure I used a proprietry kit.
