R500 suspension on a 1992?

Hi all,

Me with another question!

A couple of years ago I bought a set of R500 dampers and springs from a chap I was getting some wheels from.

Now I'm looking at fitting them but they are about an inch longer (see picture) than the original ones, will they fit or is this because the R500 has wide track?

Any advice on where to find some adjustable suspension that will fit my imperial (not wide track) suspension?

Trying to avoid buying from Caterham...

Hi all,

Are these shocks for a wide track? I posted them for sale and have had feed back that perhaps they are not for a 'wide track' car because they don't have extenders on.... if this is the case are they for the later metric narrow track cars...?

I'm a bit lost and really don't want to sell something that is not going to fit.

When I bought these I'm sure the guy had them from and R500, would that have been narrow track? Therefore the reason I ended up with them maybe because he converted it to wide track race car?...

Any help massively appreciated.
