I have an 05 Caterham Roadsport B ex. race car and have done a few track days but on the recent one (yesterday) the setup seemed a little wrong. The car was understeering lots on the exits of corners as the throttle was applied on exits. I have the three different front anti roll bar choices (orange, green and red I think!) and an adjustable rear anti roll bar.

I was just wondering what settings people use for track use as my car seems too soft for the track. I believe im currently using the orange front anti roll bar which I think is the medium one. The rear anti roll bar is in the 2nd to bottom ball joint of the four choices. May it be something other than the anti-roll bars? Also there is always two of us in the car when on the track.

Any help would be appreciated

Thanks.

Thanks for the replies

It was raced in the roadsport B's in 2007 and we purchased it early this year so as far as I know it was setup for the track, though he may have softened the car for road use as the season was over and he'd finished racing.

Over the winter I'm going to send the car off to a specialist to get it set up properly for the track but I was just looking for idea's to change the setup myself before winter as have got a few more track days in mind.

Is there anything else apart from the anti-roll bars that could be modified to help the handling? The car has adjustable Bilstein dampers, adjustable rear anti roll-bar and the 3 front anti roll-bar options and as mentioned before the front anti roll bar is the red (medium) one, the rear anti roll bar is second to soft and not sure about the damper settings.

Thanks
