I run the original type screw on R500 dry sump tower cap (5 o ring type that comes loose and the centre bit always wears the seal out quickly)which leaks like a siv. I spoke with Caterham parts about the later bolt on version which was designed to address the oil leaks. He supplied me the "fixed cap upgrade kit-part number 75725" and confirmed that I would need some of the original parts. The bits arrived in the post without any instructions today and I cannot work out how it goes together. Anyone done the same upgrade, and if so I would be grateful of a summary of how it fits together?

What a difference. Car now bone dry. Well worth doing the upgrade if you have dry sump.

Unfortunately I am experiencing problems with my camera at the moment so will not be able to take pictures. I also struggled to get pictures from blatchat. Have a look at think below to caterham website as this shows the product.

No idea what the flat plate does but the rest of the bits fit together in the same way as the original compontents. The steel plate then screws down onto the seal on the centre pipe and stops it from moving around. Simple but very effective.
