Ha ha
only messing...
Well as my name suggests had vettes for 14 years, originally classic C3 then onto a newer 99 C5 which I love, running costs, performance, sound etc all great..
funny whn I got C3 I wanted a mustang but it wouldn't fit in the garage! now looking at Wikepedia the new Mustangs seem to be same dimensions as my C5

so I was thinking now what next, wanting something newer, lower miles and more power! looking at Z06 Vette or similar, more modern version of mine, then started looking at some you tube clips of the Roush Mustang, and the thought of looks, supercharged 450 bhp etc got me thinking, particularly as there seem to few more around, and they seem a bit cheaper too.... also looked at GT500 but some debate about the suspension being a bit rough? I believe the Roush has this sorted?

anyway, total noob on the Stangs, and any guidance, ( biased as it maybe be ha ha!!) would be great.. are there any owners who very originally vette owners? never been in one.. any owners in the North East?

there also seems to be some, nice custom options, I also notice some of the price range cars actually already come with extras and look great

I'm probably going to trade / Sell in my C5 and my motorbike to get what ever I go for next..

thanks a lot

thanks for the replies chaps!

I have joined the forum, just awaiting permissions to post..

Yes my garage should be OK its bigger than when I had the C3 ( moved sinece then , according to Wikepedia the Stang is the same width as my C5

thats a nice clean car for sale! its is the sort of area I was looking at, just need to sell mine and my bike unless I can part ex both, some dealers are willing to do this..
there are also a couple for sale up in Edinburgh, and AC Dominator and another one both around £25k

I think I need to get a ride in one, or maybe drive one, thats going to help me beyond the point of no return!!

Thanks Matt
Very interesting that.. Cheers for posting..

There does seem to be endless modding potential with the mustangs, and they visually do look great, I'm going to make sure and take did time to look at all options... I wish I had the money to have both! That would be ideal...

I'm also probably weighing up a C6 Z versus this..

Yes both right!
C6 Z would be nice, but it's higher price out of reach currently... Iam going to drive one sometime just to see what they're like.. There's always thought of saving up, waiting for further price drops as C7s arrive, next year the new Z..
But always loved the look of mustangs, and really trying to weigh up all options ... Had a local kind offer to look at one, which I'm going to do...

But interesting Matt you say you'd take Z over any mustang? Even the latest ones?

But not sure I could do without anything in the meantime! Sensible says save and sell everything... But can't ever accuse me of being sensible when it comes to cars!! But some nice stangs around for decent money, which sparked thought process off
Really, as these things are money pits wanted next one to be for long term as well... Hopefully
