Just wondering what people are planning to add onto their S550 once they have taken delivery of it and where is the best place in the UK to source these upgrades?

I was thinking about an exhaust upgrade to add a bit more noise but not sure where to go

I've been through almost all the aftermarket exhaust clips on YouTube including Magnaflow, Roush, ARH etc and that one is by far and away the best one.

But you lot have to get something else 'cos I heard it first! tongue out
Do you know if you can just bolt this onto a UK spec car? I'm tempted to preorder one of these before the car arrives so I can get in straight on. Prices doesn't seem too bad:-

Where did you order it from?

Why the touring? I think I'm going for the sport

Ta - I have to say the touring sounds good and it's a tough call.

Aren't you getting a convertible Folie? Might be worth going for something a tad quieter than the Sport if so.
Yes I do, so this is a consideration especially with 2 young kids in the back.

I have been through the Youtube clips and the Touring sounds nice, but doesn't quite have the effect I'm looking for at idle - that deep burble on start up which the Sport seems to have (as much as you can tell from a video clip)

The next one up (Racing?) is too loud.

Previous cars include a Vantage V8 with Fuse 22 removed (disables the exhaust butterfly valve) and a Tuscan S with Carbon Cans, so soundtrack is important to me.

I guess none of us will know for sure until we have our cars and pipes.

Yeah.... I had a Vantage with fuse 22 removed and I also gutted the back boxhehe but it wasn't that loud really..

The TVR's on the other hand, although great for blasting around turned a bit wearing on long journeys..

My plan for the Mustang, is some Euro trips and use as much as possible, so having had loud in the past, this time I'd rather something a little more subtlesmile
Nice clips!

You were swaying me towards the Touring but I've just watched the Brola film again and I think the Touring sounds too much like the stock exhaust. I was going to go for the S-Type (sorry called it Sport in my earlier posts), but I think I may have upsold myself to the ATAK, although I'm not sure her indoors will sign that off for the school run smile

Just ordered the Ford Racing by Borla Sports Cat Back exhaust from CJ Pony parts. Pony exchange rate (pardon the pun), so £1478 inc delivery and tax. Still worth it I'd say.

Just need to source the Pony decklid now.

Should've got it from Benny at Levittown Ford.

I paid under £1300 total for mine.
You're probably right, to be honest I'd forgotten about him when I rushed to order this morning before the Mrs changed her mind!

Just fitted the decklid, as you will see from Gibbo's thread it looks much better (in my opinion) that the GT badge

And the sports exhaust (Ford Racing by Borla) which sounds sooooo much better than the stock one. It has a nice growl to it when accelerating, but is actually quite quiet when cruising at motorway speeds.

The Ford garage fitted both for £90 all in which I didn't think was too bad at all. The boys in the workshop where very happy with the exhaust note smile
