What’s better than having one Roush? Well having more never hurts and adding 2 more brings us to that sweet spot, number 3. Over time groups of 3 have done some impressive stuff. 3 musketeers, 3 amigo’s, and Newtons laws of motion, which was the basis for the beginning of physics and the world as we know it was a group of… you guessed it, 3 laws. So on that note for my Video “Turbo Play: 2015 Roush Ecoboost” We figured 3 boosted Roush stangs would make for some great footage.

The ecoboost is a interesting edition to the mustang line up because the idea of putting a turbo 4 cylinder in an American icon such as the mustang out raged mustang purist. As if ford had change cherry pie to granolas bars. But that wasn’t there mind set at all and technically speaking would be a more efficient way of consuming calories. The V8 is still the range topping Mustang. That out the way, I must say I am a fan of the boosted stang. Plus especially with the mustang now headed overseas for sale in Europe and the competition heating up in the states, the mustang needed some new bragging rights other than just, power, power, power!

The roush package rides on a performance pack chassis which means it’s a great handling machine, and all the power it has is very usable and accessible in many situations. The Roush Package really makes this car quite a show stopper too. The exhaust that comes with the stage 1 Mustang is also something to note. Driving a stage 1 back from an event, a guy in a corvette (A v8 American idol as well) stopped me at a traffic light and said “that thing sounds awesome, is it really a 4 banger!” Which goes to show that it’s not just a vacuum cleaner or weed wacker under the hood, and can grab attention when it wants too which addresses a big complaint of the ecoboost, its sound. Our rated G conversation began to take a turn towards the R side when he then stated “lets take that Roush down to Florida and grab some ……..” as he rev’d his engine I missed that last part but imagination and inferences pretty much filled in the blank. The light had just turned green and I laughed it off and waved him goodbye as we parted ways. Its times like that when you just gotta love cars and car guys moments.

The inspiration for the intro to the Roush video was inspired from Richmond Ford itself, The mechanics love to play rock songs while there working. As I was walking through the shop during the editing stages of the Roush Mustang video, I thought it would be really cool to add rock music on top of the driving scenes to further add an element of excitement and thrill to the video.

let me know what yall think and hope you enjoy !

I appreciate the feedback, and I did know they had the SVO but the transmission and brake stuff was welcomed new knowledge.. I thought about mentioning the past but for some reason did not.

and even tho I should have made it a little more clear, I dont really think the V8 is its competition, the ecoboost's duty is to put the v6 to rest and I think it will accomplish that

and yea me personally driven both forms, I'd take the V8 any day but I'm still an ecoboost mustang fan all the way

also random question did you think the intro was too much?
