As GTA Online is going to be such a huge addition I thought we could have a dedicated thread for it, somewhere to try and organise the mayhem! So, post any news on its release here and once we're let loose in it somewhere to post pics and vids of the carnage!

That crew was a mixture of PS3 and 360, makes sense to have one for each.

We're trying to split the crews so there's one for the 360 and one for the PS3, a lot of the members of the PS3 group are Xbox users. Another crew shouldn't really be needed.

The Rockstar servers are taking a hammering at the moment though so might take a while to get onto the Social Club.

Given Online a go but didn't have much luck, finally managed to get the first mission going where you have to get the drugs but had loads of lag then the cloud servers were unavailable, think I'll start over again later in the week!

Once we've got a few more entries for peoples info on the Wiki we'll start kicking the interlopers.

Edit: Also, unless anyone can think of any PHers from the games section who are based in the US I'm going to kick all those on the crew from the US, already kicked a load of Mexicans and Brazilians!

With the rank titles in the crew, is it only the crew creator that can boot people or can the lieutenants to it too?

At present only the crew leader and commissioners can kick people from the crew, might be worth making a couple more commissioners at some point to keep on top of the invite requests.

I'm going to kick those that I'm fairly certain aren't member here today, basically anyone based in the USA etc. Should free up some space and reduce the number of team killings. If you get accidentally caught up in the kicking, my appologies; post your social club name here and I'll ensure your invite is approved.

That's a load of Americans, Mexicans and Brazilians kicked from the 360 crew, hopefully that'll reduce the amount of friendly fire when playing alongside fellow crew members.

Think there are still some randoms in there but I won't kick any more until the Wiki is more up to date.

You need to put your details on the relevant console section of the Wiki http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&a... You might have been caught up in the purge of 360 players in the PS3 crew.

We will do once the Wiki has been filled out a bit more. Over 100 randoms have already been kicked from the crew so hopefully you should seen less non-PHers when you link up with crew mates.

I'd like to volunteer myself to be a commissioner if I can Gun? I'm online a reasonable amount and will be even more so once I get some of these bloody DIY jobs finished

I've moved you up to lieutenant but only the leader can promote people to commissioner so if you ask him nicely...
